For once – there was two beers. TWO (and i wasn’t double-parked).
Up the stairs and into F&P, is like walking into a retro 70’s house. There’s cute rooms with an assortment of furniture: couches, chairs and coffee tables.
There’s a disco ball sparkling on the roof and colourful streamer decorations. This bar speaks to me.
I grabbed some beers and ordered house-made jaffles with a side of sweet potato fries (YUM).
I liked the love heart scratched into the table. I liked the street light coming in through the shutters.
When people ask me what makes a bar GOOD: it’s how I feel when I’m there. The vibe. It’s the memories I associate with a place: did I feel welcome? Could I chill out? Would I stay for another drink?
I most definitely would, and add it to my BARS challenge, of which I only had five bars to go on the Z to A challenge. E, D, C, B, A.
Awesome.
This is what I will remember about Fitz n Potts.
