Mr Edward’s Alehouse & Kitchen

Mid-way through my Z – A bar challenge, trying to NOT kill my liver or bank balance, my M bar was calling: Mr Edward’s. No doubt named for the Brisbane city street it’s on.

My work meeting had finished early, meaning I could bus it to the city and visit at a nice afternoony time: 4pm, on a Tuesday. Might have been too early for the after-work crowd? Maybe. It was just myself, and one other table of peeps.

The taps had a good range of Queensland craft beers: Balter, Green Beacon, Ballistic…

Me: never had a Mismatch Brewing Co. before, and seemed appropriate to keep with the “M” theme of the day: One schooie of their IPA please, 7.6% (Yum!)

Took my beverage to a little NOOK, where I could people-watch out the window, looking at Margaret St. (and take more beer photos).

Mmmm no reason to stay too long, I felt like playing Ghosts & Goblins at Netherworld, so jumped on a bus to the Valley.

Is there a Mrs. Mr. Edwards?
