And so it began, at At Sixes and Sevens Fortitude Valley.
The first bar of my personal project, I didn’t know whether to tell everyone or no-one. So I went the safe bet and told no-one.
If I didn’t make it past the first bar, no-one would notice. No harm done… I took a photo of my lunch and posted it on the Facebook.
The challenge was to visit 26 bars in Brisbane before the end of the year, alphabetically if possible. Just for funsies. I dubbed it my A to Z of Brisbane Bars.
What I didn’t like: there was no actual bar to sit at and the tables had QR codes for ordering – which meant no human interaction with staff, apart from being served food and drinks.
Things I liked: Taking up a whole bench because no-one else was around. The giant serving of a margarita (yum) decorated with dehydrated lemon wheel. This fried cauliflower was also spicy and delicious.
Overall: Great feed, better with friends, staff will leave you alone.
