WALKED down Little Bourke Street, to this colourful strip – looking warm and inviting.
OK I only stumbled a LITTLE down the stairs, but as soon as I saw the bar (and put my shopping on a SEAT and my HANDBAG on a HOOK) I was SET.

Scanned the MENU, let’s see.. too early for a slippery nipple? maybe something refreshing… A Moscow Mule (please and thx!)
BARTENDERS were chatty, as were the LOCALS who traded stories on how much we LOVE Melbourne and what brought us here..
The Mule> served a big MASON jar, with a PAPER straw was perfect and ginger beery and everything I felt like at the time. It went down well.
Bar BANTER is TOP NOTCH, and to be honest it’s why I stayed for a second beverage (a ginger beer on tap, one of those James Squires, if I recall correctly)
AND Since I left a few CHICK BAR stickers with the crew, have since returned to FIND them at the front door and on the walls – LOVE THIS!
Bar Humbug is one of the FRIENDLIEST places I’ve popped into so far, and THAT is why I rate them a SOLID 4 out of 5 chicks.
