No Brisbane bar blog would be complete without a trip to Netherworld
Not biased or nothing, but it is my all time favourite bar. My regular haunt – and I gotta say – I really like walking into a bar where the staff yell HEY KELL at me.
There’s always a FUN atmosphere when I walk in –
I’ve been here to paint miniature gaming figurines, watch live bands and even a PowerPoint presentation night.
I like trying the different craft beers on tap and I like my little spot at the end of the bar near the Ice Cold Beer game.
Usually there’s an art show between the bar and the ladies room, so get to check out local Brisbane artwork en route.
Sitting up at the bar is the best, talking or not talking to bartenders, just watching drinks being made and not thinking about the world for an afternoon is lovely.
Then buying a bag of coins and putting them all into Ghosts & Goblins cuz fk that game is hard. But i like the challenge
It’s where I go to start the night, end the night or spend the whole night.
It’s where I’d have my first date with Matt in 6 months, but I didn’t know that yet. For now I was just a single girl in Brisbane, visiting bars and playing video games.
