Popped into Pizza Pizza Pizza during a HIDDEN BARS CRAWL, and it certainly was TUCKED away –
Perceived from the street, you’d SWEAR you were about to interrupt someone cooking dinner in their kitchen –
PRO TIP: walk past old mate, turn LEFT, and PUSH through a curtain door –
PRESTO! a bar & restaurant, hidden behind the scenes, where we were PROMPTLY seated at a booth and given menus for food & cocktails
We ordered a half chorizo / half magic mushroom pizza (pictured)
BOTH flavours were delicious, this bar definitely does the PIZZA part well
PAIRED with a yummy “Italian Tale” cocktail — like a whiskey sour, but in a fancy coupe glass
This combo worked surprisingly well for dinner
PEERING around, the vibe is: “PIZZA restaurant with BAR there”.
Dimly lit, with TEA lights for ambience – but I felt it’s not really a romantic DATE spot, more of a novelty destination.
The FUN was in the FINDING.
PERFECT if u want to surprise your friends with a hidden pizza bar!
