Right, back to beers. My bro recommended Range for an after-work drink, so he casually popped by on a Thursday afternoon, and I took 2 buses to check it out. Bar #18. On the home stretch of the challenge.
Like most craft breweries in Brisbane, they’re pocketed within industrial areas – with no great parking – but if you’re there to sample the wares you shouldn’t be driving anyway, eyy.
Soon as I spot a grey boxy building – yep that’s the place! It’s industrial looking, it’s industrial feeling. The seats are kegs. THIS is what you want in a brewery, folks. You know the beer’s gonna be good when it’s just a warehouse, a plant and bar full of beer taps.

The bartenders were friendly, wish there were seats at the bar! But na, this bar is built for service, not chit chat.
Sat at a communal table, next to big silver brewing vats and took a photo of the menu so I can zoom in on my phone. I’m almost 40, and don’t own glasses (yet).

Had a delicious banana & peanut flavoured stout, and at 12% ABV, needed a chaser! The water taps are a ‘fetch your own’ set-up, so grabbed a few glasses to minimise the amount of trips I needed to stay hydrated. Worth it.

Range: YES. There’s a range at Range and a range of beers on the range at Range. I also really dig a brewery with giant shiny vats and Big Ass Fans.
