Brisbane ABSOLUTELY has a gamut of beautiful bars, and it’s always a BONUS if they have a banger of a view. so MINT, here are my TOP 5 favourite VIEW bars, in no particular order:
Mr Percival’s
over at Howard Smith Wharves. It doesn’t get any more Under the Bridge than this! (Red Hot Chili Peppers would be jealous) That’s the Story Bridge RIGHT there.

It’s pretty inside, but outside has a tops view of the Brisbane River – GREAT if you like watching boats and jet skiers – this sure is the jigger for you.

Iris Rooftop
at the top of Hotel X in Fortitude Valley. I wrote a whole story about this bar, after I got my first tattoo:
Joey’s
at Kangaroo Point, RIGHT there on the cliffs, is Joey’s. It’s a café, it’s a restaurant, it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner. just make sure you BOOK a booking!

Cool vibes, and a view of Brisbane CITY and RIVER.

Eagles Nest
at the top of The Point Brisbane Hotel – take the elevator to Level 12 – and (best you book this one too), as with most roof tops – there’s LIMITED space available, and everyone wants the best view!

This was also one of my bar adventures, I wrote about it here:
Riverland
Smack bang in the middle of Brisbane City – Riverland has a city street entrance, AND a riverside entrance (where I waltzed in one afternoon from the boardwalk)

There’s QR codes on the tables, so just pick a seat and order food & drinks without losing your spot. Settle in for a perfect RIVER/BRIDGE view – and you’ll totally forget you’re in the city. I loved sitting here, watching the City Cats go up and down the river.

And it’s here that I CHEERSED celebrating 1K Facebook followers! the Chick Walks Into a Bar page is about to hit 2K followers, so time to find another bar for a selfie. Have you got a favourite Brisbane bar with a view? Hit me up on the FB!
