Viscosity bar: Round Two

VIBING & VIBRANT – it’s no surprise Viscosity bar E X P A N D E D in 2023. NOW their Fortitude Valley venue has TWO entrances – on the corner of McLachlan and Connor Streets.

Now with bright and shiny NEW signs – I HAD to re-visit! Viscosity bar let’s go!>

It was BUSY, and YES there was a queue again, but I skipped ahead of a few people digging around for their I.D. cards (NOTE: remember to bring I.D.)

Here’s me, walking into the new venue for the first time:

It’s a LOUD and NEON and FUN bar!

There’s a MASSIVE MENU advertising all the drinks – but it’s on the other side of the bar> so I ventured over to get a few photos:

Cocktails OR Shots – those are your choices.

Every drink is FANCY in it’s own way, but remember: it’s all about the SCIENCE and WIZARDRY here. So expect BUBBLY wonders and dry ice SMOKE effects – but a name and a price are all you’re offered. They’re non-descript of CONTENTS.

The last time I asked What’s IN the drinks? the response was “Usually vodka”.

If the MENU area is busy> just line-up anyway, there are pre-made cocktails behind the bar, you could literally POINT to the one you want: and it’s loud, so you may have to.

The good thing is: no matter what you order, you’re gonna get something AMAZING, so don’t fuss over the prices too much.

There’s no wine, no beers, no SPRITZES – and it’s banging. You’ll forget about all those other drinks.

Is it always busy? From my experience: YES. It’s the only science-themed cocktail bar I’ve ever found in Brisbane.

Can you book a table? Nope, but the line moves fast and once you’re inside: it’s worth it! You’re gonna get that good Insta shot or TIK TOK vid.. if that’s what is wanted.

LOVED the new expansion of Viscosity, STILL a winner from me.
