WOW, I’m glad I googled Whisky & Alement before my first visit…
Otherwise, I would’ve definitely walked right past it!
Make sure you’re looking for the bright yellow “Single Malt Whisky” sign.
The door is a CURTAIN (of course!). Pull it back and you’re in.
The staff are always quick to find you the perfect seat.
I prefer the bar (!) where there are limited spots, but it gives you the BEST view of the bottles — and what a seriously well-stocked bar it is.
The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to chat whisky and beer.
On my first visit – it was a Pint of Origin EVENT, where BOILERMAKERS were on the menu: I chose a Range beer & Bardstown Bourbon COMBO
Who doesn’t love a good boilermaker
and I’ve been going back ever since!
My go-to drink is the Whisky Sour, served in these dainty glasses, topped with the perfect amount of FOAM and finished with a dusting of lemon charcoal.
Second favourite is the Hay Hunni: which also arrives all foamy and yummy, with a gorgeous salted HONEY foam, topped with a lil cube of NOUGAT
