X-ACTLY what u think it is. The XXXX Brewery in Milton, Queensland.
When I turned 18 (legal drinking age in AUSTRALIA) this BEER was one of the first cartons I “went halvsies in” with a mate (it was this or VB when I was growing up..)
I can’t ever recall purchasing the product afterwards.
Sooo the brewery wasn’t really on my to-see list, HOWEVER – it was a BAR in Brisbane starting with X, and I want to complete my A to Z list of bars for 2023.
How it happened was –
Andrew and I were at Warehouse 25, and the XXXX building is a 3 minute walk away. I’d heard the factory tour is TOPS, so we wandered down the road to try GET IN>
Upon arrival were told: “Sorry! Private function today, NO tours available”
Oh. darn. UnXpected.
I SPIED a friendly fellow at the ENTRANCE, so HEY we convinced a passer-by to take a photo of us: WITH THE FOUREX MAN.
